Community Treatment Center, Inc. provides the only Licensed Level III Residential Adult Substance Abuse and Mental Health (co-occurring capable) programs in Brevard County since 1969. Our program utlizes evidence based practices, Living in Balance, in compliance with the 65D-30 and licensure through the Department of Children and Families. We provide a total of (33) residential beds between two facilities, Cocoa and Titusville. CTC is committed to providing each client with the skills and tools necessary to rejoin the community as a contributing member of society. Treatment includes substance abuse education, relapse prevention, life skills training, family therapy, support groups for transitional counseling, and aftercare supports. Community Treatment Center also provides affordable Level I and Level II Outpatient Adult Substance Abuse treatment programs in three locations in Brevard County. Clients receive an initial bio-psychosocial assessment for the appropriate placement into the treatment program that utlizes SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs, Living in Balance. Level I clients attend and participate in weekly group counseling sessions, outside community support meetings, and monthly individual consulation with random drug screenings. Level II clients attend (9) hours of group sessions per week, outside community support meetings and two individual counseling sessions per month with random drug screenings. We assist each client to comply with criminal justice requirements for probation or to obtain and maintain their driver's license.
